Was browsing the web just before bed and found this funny video by LICD.com. If you havent heard of Least I Could Do, I sugest you give this video a watch and then head over to LICD.com for more goodies.

Wikipedia discribes LCID as “ a humor webcomic by Ryan Sohmer and Lar deSouza, which debuted on February 10, 2003. Although Lar deSouza is the current artist, the comic was previously drawn by Chad WM. Porter, for two years, and before that, Trevor Adams. The primary theme of the strip is sexuality, especially the promiscuity of the primary character, Rayne Summers, a modern-day Casanova.”

The Skybombers have completed recording 19 new tracks and have kicked off there first national tour. They have been said to be one of the best live concerts ever by fans and hopefully the first cd will capture that energy.

In an interview last night (02/04/08) on the syndicated radio show Passport Approved, the Skybombers talked about finishing up recording while partying like crazy in the L.A night scene. They are just stuck with one last part of the cd choosing which tracks to use now or keep for the next cd.

The Skybombers signed with Albert Music just over a year ago and released an EP, “Sirens” in April 2007. An outdoor show in Hollywood, CA has encouraged some US fanbase. Station Indie 103.1 has had the hit single “It goes off” on the most played list.

Influenced by the bands like the Clash, You Am I, The Easybeats, The Hives and others the Skybombers are about energy, melody, 4 A.M in the morning and being so drunk you can’t stand still so you have to dance.

Go checkout their Myspace page and give them a listen. I am sure we will be hearing them on more US airwaves very soon.

You may have noticed the other day we added a link to Onslaught 2.1 to our top menu. If you haven’t already checked it out Onslaught is said to be the best tower defense game of all all time, as well as a great distraction at work.

Okay, so you’re thinking “Oh no!, not another tower defense game. What makes this one any different from the rest?”

One word: Combos.

As with other tower defense games, you earn cash by obliterating the attackers that creep their way around any one of several maps available to play. With the cash you can purchase additional turrets or upgrade existing ones.

But it is the Combos that add a level of depth to this tower defense game not present in other games like it. The combos are many, and the resulting strategy becomes deep.
